CRX is a student-led focus group at Fordham University founded by Luke Hubbard, Georgi Penukov, and Colin O'Shea.
The Fordham Credit and Restructuring Focus Group was founded by Luke Hubbard, Georgi Penukov, and Colin O'Shea. Born out of Fordham's deep roots in credit analysis and investment, the group is a student-led organization dedicated to restructuring and distressed debt.
We pursue this through three pillars:
The group's curriculum is anchored by The Credit Investor's Handbook and supplemented by a weekly seminar series led by undergraduate leaders, covering bankruptcy law, capital structure analysis, special situations, and liability management.
Every selected freshman analyst is paired with an alumni board mentor who provides direct, ongoing mentorship throughout their development. In addition to Fordham's extensive alumni network in credit and restructuring, the group also hosts networking events that connect students directly with professionals across the distressed-debt landscape.
Upperclassmen provide tailored support to help members compete for top internships and analyst positions, including resume and cover letter workshops, structured mock interviews, and one-on-one coaching.
